I had my left side SI joint fused on April 22, 2025. This day was also my birthday. Anna, the RN, and the Aide Courtney went above and beyond to make me feel special, including getting a muffin, putting a cotton swab in it (because they aren't allowed to have candles in the hospital) they entered my room singing Happy Birthday to me. I also received a Birthday card with my lunch.

Almost every employee I came across, who asked for my name and birthday, told me Happy Birthday, including the surgery team with Dr. Edgar. I went into surgery on my birthday with the attitude that it was just another day. After all, I turned 54 and nothing special to celebrate. By the end of the day, I felt so special because the employees of Trinity Hospital had taken the time out of their day to do their own little part to make a simple woman feel like a Special Lady. Thank you to Every Single person who took the time out of your day to do this for me. You truly touched my heart.
