There are so many reasons why we feel Rosalie is a true DAISY Nurse! From the first day we met her we felt confident in her ability to not only care for our preemie son but also loved the calm she brought when she entered our room. We chose Rose to be one of our primary nurses.
Rose is poised and affirming. When I would have a "moment" she knew just what to say and how to handle it. I would always take her guidance because I trusted that she had not only my son's best interest at heart but also mine. There were several times where I needed to leave the hospital to work and my husband was also out of town. I had no worries while I was away from Children's that my son was in the best hands.
For a working mom with a child in the NICU, this is priceless. Rose goes above and beyond to see and handle the need before it even presents itself. There were numerous times when things were avoided because of her steady watch over my son. She is competent and knowledgeable in her field. I had numerous questions throughout the process, and she knew where to direct me on all of them. It is refreshing to be able to be open and transparent and not feel judged. She listened first before responding, and she always responded calmly and competently to ease any concerns we had.
We love Rosalie and could go on and on about all the many things she did throughout our month NICU stay that made her stand out above the rest. But we will leave it with these three thoughts: a passion for her work, care for her patients, and competency in the field. Great work Rose!
