A warm and diligent mentor, she uses all her resources to make sure she sets her team up for success. Her great attention to detail makes sure that if we have a new process in place or any procedure that has opportunities for improvement. She comes to work every day ready to pour herself into the needs of those around her.
She demonstrates respect for everyone. She goes above and beyond her duties as a Nurse Leader, and she extends her helping hands to her colleagues/staff in a difficult situation. She engages and empowers her staff to act with heart and purpose, as shown in Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey results. She is a born Leader with an enduring impact on the nurses she works with. She inspires, coaches and guides others with compassion, clarity, and purpose. The integrity and authenticity in her actions build trust, compassion and mutual respect. She ensured that most of her staff attended the Educational Professional development program on time. She promotes a positive and caring environment for her staff who, in turn, feel supported and empowered, motivates staff members to strive for excellence and promote staff satisfaction that shows in NDNQI monthly results.
