When Rosario is the relief nurse, all her coworkers can breathe a sigh of relief. Rosario is efficient, helpful, and anticipates your needs. In the morning, you can be assured that your blood sugars will be done. When you go on break, you can be assured that what you have tasked her with will be completed and will be done right. No task is too big or too small. No complaints from her. Should something come up, she will troubleshoot it, call the doctor or whoever to make sure that your patients are well cared for.

One time, I had a shopping list from the podiatrist, and she went and got everything for me from the OR, the supply room, and Materials Management. All of this, even when it wasn't really ‘my turn’ to be on break. One morning, I was doing my med pass, and she brought all the supplies to do wound care on my patient. I didn't even ask her to do any of this for me. With all the thanks and praises I have extended to her, she remains humble. Rosario is knowledgeable and resourceful. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and goes above and beyond. I hope that with this award, she recognizes how special she is and how much she is appreciated.
