Rosario Lacson is one of the most dedicated nurses we have ever worked with. She is self-sacrificing and her patients and their needs are always first. She always goes out of her way to do the best to fulfill the needs of her patients.
We receive Thank You letters, from patients and their families on a very regular basis and she has received the most by far! Doctors and colleagues compliment her on a regular basis too. She is trustworthy and reliable and does her job exceptionally well. You can always count on her. In crisis situations, she is always there to help, and she is the one who goes to the families and provide emotional support. With her positive attitude, she makes a difference in C-2.
She is kind, caring, and loving and the patients all adore her and they are happy to get her as a nurse. She is also a giver and does a lot of good to the poor in her community and helps orphans to study in the Philippines. She feeds people on special holidays and provides financial help where ever she can. She always wears a smile and never complains about anything. She has never complained about an assignment that is too heavy and still works the younger nurses into the ground. She has no comparison!
She is a true patient advocate and a 2nd Florence Nightingale. She stays late, to help her colleagues with their tasks. She is a very valuable unit resource and a preceptor to many a student and new comer.
She is the unit resource for IV cannulation (and all other nursing related tasks, especially orthopaedic care) for both pediatrics and adults. She is engaged in unit activities and is very much a team player and has excellent partnerships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team. She is easy to work with and is a very precious and esteemed member of the unit.
She has served the organization for almost 23.5 years and never had one sick call ever! This shows her full devotion to this profession. She is one of those who meet the criteria based on KFSH&RC values as she is patient focus, has integrity, and delivers quality care, compassionate and a team player.
We believe that she is truly deserving of this prestigious accolade for always rendering excellent quality care and service to all her patients, colleagues, the organization and to the people of Saudi Arabia. She has given it her all and still does! She is the epitome of a genuine nurse and upholds all values of this hospital.
