I remember the first night I was scared and crying, Rosario rubbed my hand as a mother would, and told me “you are going to be okay”.
I had Rosario for three nights (mid-night) shifts. I had a long surgery so I was very scared but she made me feel safe and treated me like family, not like a patient. What made me feel good is that she was very smart and knowledgeable. Every time I had a question, she had the right answer. Out of all the nurses, I felt the safest and most comfortable with her. I remember the first night I was scared and crying, she rubbed my hand as a mother would, and told me “you are going to be okay”. I really needed to hear that. She is so compassionate and sweet and is an asset to this hospital. I’m so lucky to have had her as my nurse. Ascension Providence is definitely lucky to have such an amazing, compassionate, hard-working, and caring nurse. Rosario is a hard worker and she literally never sat down. She was doing five things at once. Thank you so much Rosario for being the most amazing nurse.
