Rosie is the most kind hearted and caring nurse I have ever known. She works hard to make our patients feel comfortable and she is very professional. She really cares for our patients and staff alike. Even though she has retired, she comes back as contingency to help for staffing. We have had patients just stop by that have already received their treatment to say "Hi" to Rosie. Family members will even come in with their loved one so they can talk to Rosie. She has a way of bringing your spirits up when you are down.
We had a patient that had cancer, unable to work, running on bald tires on his truck. Rosie went to work with a tire dealer and got him some good tires. She is always going out of her way to go to the cafeteria if a patient wants something that we do not have to eat in the unit. Thank you Rosie for all that you do!
