Mrs. Rose is an outstanding registered nurse. She goes above and beyond her call of duty as a nurse. She's been a nurse for about 20 years and employed with OLOL for about 15 years, serving in different departments. Mrs. Rose is very family oriented and she loves God with all her heart. Mrs. Rose also precepts students and new grads on all the medical/surgical unit, where I first had a chance to interact with her and learn her exceptional skills as a new nurse. I had the opportunity to work with her for over two years on the unit and I can honestly say that I don't have one bad thought of her whenever we might be having a hard day; she finds the right advice to give us in our everyday lives.
Mrs. Rose aids in teamwork and will stop what she is doing to help out her coworkers. She often is known as the nurse that can "stick any vein" for IV administration purposes! I am so blessed to have met such a sweet and kind spirited woman of God. She's a nurse to never forget and I often think of her when I am facing a challenging time with skills such as venipuncture or IV administration. "How would Mrs. Rose do this?" Please strongly consider Mrs. Rose Cambre for the DAISY Award this year!
