Rose Del Rosario, RN II
Rose has been a nurse at this facility for 42 years. She started as a Medical Staff Nurse, moved to ANM, and then became a medical staff nurse Manager. After several years in that role, Rose was promoted to the Director of Nursing Supervisors and held that title until recently, when she stepped down as House Supervisor.
Her many nominations all expressed the same thing: that Rose is the definition of an exceptional nurse. She has an unmatched knowledge of everything from policies to disaster response, interpersonal communication, and quality patient care. She is a constant mentor for many co-workers. Through the years, her mentorship, knowledge, sharing, and support have impacted many patients and co-workers. It is often said in a crisis, WWRD, What would Rosie Do?
Her comfort and skill with patients are exemplary. It is an honor to work with Rose on a daily basis.
