Rose Hayden, RN

Over the course of two long, complete shifts, Rose demonstrated a level of caring and understanding far surpassing that I had seen in previous hospital stays. She tended to every request for assistance, whether it was routine or a special ask, with the professionalism required, but more importantly, with the kindness, grace, and compassion that immediately put my mind at ease.

Recognizing that nurses oversee a large number of patients at one time, she always found the time to check in on me to keep an eye on me to ensure that I was smiling when she left.

They say in life our “angels” look after us in times of need. Rose was my “angel” during her shifts that overlapped my stay. I am extremely grateful and appreciative to have had my “angel” by my side.
