February 2018 Honoree
rose labrie, RN, CCRN, CNIII
Rose's clinical skill and compassionate care exemplify the kind of nurse our patients, their families, and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model.
Rose includes the patients daily in the plan for the day, she sees the benefits of being active. Rose was a part of the committee in SCU that developed the progressive mobility protocol based on evidence and supported by AACN. Anyone who works with Rose knows her patients are getting out of bed today.
Rose is seen as a very strong nurse and is a resource to all. Staff seek out her input on patient problems or concerns. Rose provides a positive aura about her. We are frequently bombarded by change and Rose always has a "go with the flow" attitude with a "how can we make this work for us in the best way?" mentality. She has always been my hero and role model for nursing.
