I delivered my son early by emergent c section. I did not tolerate the procedure well and required an extended stay. Rose's attention to detail (clinical assessments, medication orders, labs, follow up with physicians, etc.) gave me great comfort in my time of uncertainty and fear. I felt such comfort knowing each night she worked she would give me special time. I ended up needing two units of blood just so I could have enough strength to get in a wheelchair to go see my baby in the NICU. Rose was the one who made me feel comfortable before administering the blood. I was scared but Rose's confidence and compassion erased my fears. She is wonderful.
