Rose is the definition of the word "nurse". My mother was admitted to Frye through the ER and was moved to the neurology floor and was lucky enough to land Rose as her nurse. Rose was always available to answer our questions and requests. One time I went to the desk to ask her something, she was sitting down in what appeared to be the break room having lunch and she immediately stood up and came to the desk. When I pointed out that it was her break time and I would come back she wouldn't hear of it. She not only met and exceeded the needs of my mom but always made sure myself and the other family members were doing okay. Rose overheard us talking about finding a cup of coffee and she volunteered to bring us coffee, she did and made sure everyone had the condiments they needed. We were concerned about getting the results of my mom's MRI, Rose found someone to get the results. We were concerned about getting a neurology consult, Rose took care of that. Rose goes the extra mile and then some. Frye Hospital should be grateful for Rose and find a way to clone her. Rose significantly made a difference in the care my mom received during her hospital stay with her caring attitude, empathy, experience, kindness, support, and apparent love of her career.
