Rosemary Brown, BSN, RN, WOCN

As a wound and ostomy nurse, Rosemary cares for patients who are vulnerable and facing difficult healing situations. She brings expertise and compassion to all she serves. One of her patients, with a very challenging wound, wrote of his experience with Rosemary: “My apprehension was high, and I steeled myself for the pain to come. In a quarter of the time, she cleaned the wound and re-packed the gauze with only mild discomfort. Rosemary is a true PRO! She timed the pain meds to their optimum strength. She worked quickly to minimize discomfort. She was a God send!”
    
Another patient wrote, “I met Rosemary when I had to have a colostomy. She is a very patient teacher. Whenever I needed help or a question answered, she was and always is there. She is always caring and concerned about her patients. She has gone above and beyond for me, and I will always be grateful. She is an asset to the nursing profession and this hospital.”
