This nurse shows her ICARE values in her daily work. She is supportive of the entire staff and her peers. This nurse gives her team confidence in what they do. One of her many attributes is a passion for doing her job with a humble heart and a listening ear. Her actions translate into a "don’t just act on it, do it" attitude that provides a high level of professional and accurate care to the patients we serve.

She is very active in the clinic and visibly shows that she loves her job. She is a natural-born leader and is transparent and trustworthy. She assists in staff meetings with positive interjection and feedback. She's a great preceptor and great feedback is received from all that she has precepted. She is respected by her peers and makes them feel comfortable coming to her with their concerns. She represents the role of lead well when I’m not present. She not only comes up with suggestions but possible solutions.

She is called the decorator at the clinic because she decorates the entire pediatric area with themed décor for each holiday. She does and funds this on her own. She finds great joy in decorating the clinic and it creates a wonderful environment and boosts morale for both the patients and staff.

She started out here at Parkland as a medical practice assistant and went back to school to later become an RN. She has blossomed into a great nurse. Rosemary is a DAISY Nurse due to her outstanding demonstration of showing Integrity, Compassion, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Equity in her day-to-day functions.
