Rosemary has been in the UWMC system for over 20 years as a registered nurse. Her calm disposition and breadth of knowledge has made her a health care leader among patients, their families, fellow nursing staff, and physicians. She focuses on what each patient needs and gives them 100% even though she may have 3 other patients needing her care. She has a way of assuring patients they are in good hands just by her calm presence, as well as being kind and confident. Rosemary has passed along her nursing knowledge to the next generation of nurses by precepting two new graduate nurses in the Emergency Department. Rosemary exemplifies the mission of UWMC by providing exceptional patient and family centered care in an environment of education and innovation and is an outstanding role model and very deserving of the DAISY Award.
