When my father arrived in the MICU, Rosemary greeted him and immediately addressed his grave needs. She embraced our dear family friends as surrogate family until my sister and I could make the long drive to the hospital. When we arrived, Rosemary carefully explained our father's status and answered our questions. She later advised us to get some sleep while she watched over him saying she would call us if his condition changed. We really appreciated her comforting words. To me that is what caring is about-showing respect and care in a professional way.
