Nominations from coworkers:
*Roshonda is a great nurse! She is very compassionate to her patients and is always there for the many nurses who need her expertise in difficult situations. She is very outgoing and never asks for anything in return so I would like to thank her by nominating for this award of which she is very deserving.
*In each department there are individuals that make a positive impact and for 6North, Roshonda is one of them. We are blessed to have some amazing coworkers and very blessed to have Roshonda. She is a rock on which we all can stand. I believe the walls of this facility are only as strong as the people that support and make a difference in the lives of our patients every day. Roshonda, thank you for making a difference! You are a DAISY in every way.
*Roshonda deserves this award more than anyone I know. She is a multitasker, great decision maker, works well with everyone. All the doctors say she is their favorite nurse. She demonstrates superb nursing skills, she knows “everything”. She is our go to girl even when she is not charging. She is just an all around great person and will take time out of her busy day to help anyone! She keeps a calm attitude in stressful situations which helps everyone work together at ease. Roshonda Washington deserves this award!
*It was a Saturday morning when Roshonda came down to medical records to check a discharged chart and make sure she had everything she was supposed to have completed and correct. She is a very dedicated nurse and very nice person.
From patient:
She is very professional, caring and smiles at all times even when I felt bad. She was an encouragement to me!
From patient family:
She was minutes from closing off her shift when my mother needed changing. Roshonda took time to come to the room and changed her despite her having to clock out. She was very pleasant about the whole ordeal. This says so very much about her.
