Roumelia Jordan, RN
It is with great honor that I nominate a clinical nurse leader, Ia Jordan, who has demonstrated excellent leadership and professionalism while including a multidisciplinary approach to an exposure situation regarding a surgical case in an efficient manner.
As Ia was contacting key stakeholders for information, Ia kept the staff and patient safe by providing sound guidance per the organization’s policy. She demonstrated compassion for the staff as she was present during and after the procedure, as well as checking on them the next day.
Ia exemplifies Virginia Mason Franciscan Health’s values of compassion, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and collaboration. We are fortunate to have the high caliber of a nursing leader as Ia on VMFH’s team!
