During my stay at Scripps Mercy Hospital Rowena went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Like me, Rowena has children. She was able to understand and share my feelings of missing them while away for my chemotherapy treatments. Some days at the hospital can be hard and lonely, but having a nurse's comfort can change your whole day and Rowena did just that. She encouraged me to keep fighting, stay strong, and be positive. I am my daughters' biggest role model, and I will never stop fighting for them. Thank you Rowena for your kindness and motivating words. You have made an impact on me that I will truly remember for a life time.
