There are so many outstanding nurses here, but today, Rowena inserted an IV in my brother's vein quicker than ever before. He has a history of difficulty with this process. Normally another nurse always performs this task. In her absence, Rowena cheerfully stepped up to the challenge and after getting the heart compression done, swiftly did her thing to my brother's delight and comfort. In addition, Rowena is steadfastly attentive when switching the magnesium, potassium and chemo infusions. It seems we are never waiting around. I have also noticed other staff eager to partner with Rowena. Her knowledge, thinking, and compassion are obviously very magnetic. We have been here many long days and it seems Rowena is always here for us. She is exemplary of a true professional and certainly praiseworthy.
