When it comes to the care of a patient, perhaps no one looks to the nurses and staff for answers more than a patient’s family members. Rowena Peters was exactly what one particular patient and his family needed to remain calm and feel assured that the care provided was the best.
Recently, Rowena took care of a gentleman who was near death. The patient’s wife made it a point to nominate Rowena for her patience, empathy, and keeping the family well-informed. “She is a compassionate person who cares about her patient, their families and their concerns,” her nominator said. “She answered all our questions, making us feel reassured about what my husband was having done to him. I am forever grateful.”
And even better news, her husband survived!
