Nobody wants to be in the hospital and spend New Year's Eve in a hospital bed in pain, but unfortunately, that’s where I found myself. I was very lucky and blessed enough thought to have been taken care of by Capt Trinidad. He was so patient, kind, and very attentive. He was the first nurse to take care of me upon admission. As I cried from the pain, he rubbed my back and promised that he’d do all he could to make sure I was comfortable because my pain was not controlled and was beginning to take a toll on my mental state. He made several calls to the doctors on my behalf, and anything he was able to do to alleviate even just an ounce of my pain, he was willing to do. I never felt alone. He allowed me to talk, ramble, vent, and cry if I needed, and he listened. I am forever grateful!
