The DAISY Award offers an opportunity to recognize and honor nurses for the sacred work they do every day in a meaningful way. I think as a profession, we forget how significantly we impact our patient's experience. The DAISY Award is a great reminder of the difference one nurse can make for a patient and their family. Roxann does this daily and provides a great example of what professional nurses should emulate.
