Roxann frequently goes above and beyond by providing personalized care for each of her patients. In this case, Roxann was caring for a child undergoing a surgical procedure. The weather that day was colder than usual. When Roxann realized that the child didn't have a warm hat she went to the gift shop and purchased one and presented it as a gift to the child and the parents. Roxann was also recognized for her preceptor abilities with many nursing students and newly hired RNs. Roxann is truly a giving and compassionate nurse and individual.
