I believe that Roxanne is truly a DAISY Nurse. I interact with her often in the Perioperative care of patients and I see the wonderful care that she gives each and every patient. Whether it's calming a patient in preop when they are the most nervous or showing compassion to patients in pain in the recovery room. She finds a way to connect with them in a meaningful way to show that she cares and is there for them. What makes her stand out is not only her skills as a nurse but the extra mile that she goes for patients, nursing colleagues, and physicians on a daily basis even when she is on call.
