My brother was hospitalized with lung cancer, among other cancers, which made it very difficult for him to breathe. His disposition was not very pleasant at times, yet the day and night nurses were very kind and understanding. When he was put on comfort care, they were very attentive to not only my brother's comfort but also to me and my brother's friend while we stayed with him during that process. It is not easy waiting for a loved one to pass. The nurses' compassion and understanding of our anguish made it less stressful. I appreciate the care given to my brother and to us.
