Roxanne just "HAS IT!" I could tell right from the start that she was not a novice to her position. Although that was a plus, it was only the start. We just began talking about where she grew up which led to a conversation about family and then we started discussing her journey with breast cancer. The doctors she had, were the same ones that I have and that led to a deeper discussion of how I was doing, feeling, and coping. She didn't push me through, looking at the clock to make sure she was on schedule. She made me feel important and several times inserted the phrase, "You got this!" She was not only caring, but she was very helpful, showing both empathy and expertise.

God's timing is so apparent. I have been doing very well with my treatment but the night before, I had a rough night, emotionally. Roxanne was there today and without being aware of it, was able to be God's hand in letting me know that everything would be alright. She was a comfort along with her professionalism. She gave me perspective, along with caring. She is the "real deal!" In the short amount of time that I met with her, I believe that I could reach out to her any time if I needed to. Yes, she told me or I should say offered, to call her any time if I needed to reach out. And you know what? I totally believe that she meant it. Roxanne truly "has it!" Thank you Roxanne, for making a difference.
