Roxy was one of the nurses who trained me when I came to Surgical Services. Always positive and smiling, Roxy made me feel supported, protected, and welcomed in the new work environment.
We connected from the very beginning of my training and Roxy knew how to explain difficult concepts and to present new information in a very accessible way. Not only was she fantastic at the job, but she has also proven herself to be a loving and caring person. Roxy kindly helped me to correct my mistakes and gave me tips about charting even when she was not assigned as my mentor.
I greatly appreciate everything that Roxy did for me, I would not be where I am today without her. She is a DAISY Nurse for being there for me and teaching me so much.
