My veins are very small, and no one can ever get an IV in for me. Last night, five nurses from the night shift tried, each taking a turn, but none of them succeeded. This morning, a nurse came to me with a beautiful smile and a wonderful spirit. She told me, ‘’I’ll try just once, and if it doesn’t work, I’ll call anesthesia."

She then asked me what song I liked to listen to and played it for me, and started singing along. And just like that! She got it and placed the IV perfectly. I told her, "I swear, you were amazing I didn’t feel anything!’’ I was so overwhelmed that I started crying. Her humility, kindness, and beautiful personality touched my heart. I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart. I never met a nurse with such high compassion.
