This nurse is amazing. She outshines others by going further than the extra mile. Many occasions she stays longer than her shift to help both patients and staff. She is never too busy to help and offers to help when she is busy. Her personality lights up the ward and I never see her frown. We have a lot of patients that pass away on the ward. The way she deals with this is with extreme sensitivity and professional whilst also showing compassion and empathy. The relatives and friends react in a positive way. She works so hard and really deserves to be recognised.
