Ruby is an amazing nurse. My sister was surely blessed to have had Ruby as her nurse in ICU. Ruby's compassion for the patient was unbelievable. She used her knowledge and ability to make my sister as comfortable as she possibly could. Ruby was never too busy to care for my sister, and she showed endless energy doing what was needed to help heal my sister who was not well.

Ruby has incredible skills as a nurse, and she was very observant of what my sister needed. Ruby was extremely sensitive to the delicate condition that my sister was in. Ruby constantly checked on her, repositioned her, and explained her medicines and why the medicines were needed. Not only did she explain them to my sister, but she also took the time to explain them to us, the family members.

I saw empathy in Ruby, which makes her the best example of a nurse. She cared for the patient as though she were part of her own family. I had many questions and concerns, and each time, Ruby patiently explained in detail what I needed to know. With her busy schedule, her kind and caring smile was always on her face. Once again, I was impressed when Ruby went in and said goodbye to my sister one night after her long shift had ended. That was really a heartwarming gesture. Ruby is a true definition of an exceptional nurse.
