Dear Rudy,

Thank you so much for what you did for me last week. I was one of your patients the night of 1/20. I was in for colonoscopy prep and was really having a hard time dealing with it. You came in the middle of the night and cleaned me up and talked to me so nicely. You gave me some excellent advice for how to get thru the next few days and it was most helpful. You need to write a book, my friend!

My mother was a nurse and worked while I was growing up so I know a little of what you go through with night and weekend shifts, long hours, etc. In the 35 years I have been associated with Haley VA I have always been amazed at how wonderful everyone there is. You are one of the best and I am very proud to know you as a friend.

I always tell people that my spinal cord injury was the worst thing that ever happened to me but it was also the best thing because I have been able to know all the great people like you that work at SCI Haley VA.
