My fiancé and I had a long week in the ICU prior to being transferred down to PCU. Not being familiar with the hospital environment, it felt like we were in a different world, and everything felt out of our control. Although I am grateful for the care and attention we were given by the other nurses and staff- Rushel stood out the most to us with her genuine passion, love, and drive to care for her patients and the ones she cares for. Rushel fills the room full of energy and joy, which is truly refreshing being confined in a small room for a week. She would also go the extra mile to answer all of our questions and concerns, while also fulfilling requests. She would happily find more information for us to ease our worries and provide clarity. During our stay, we were treated with the utmost respect and fairness that you would like to be treated with if you were in the opposite shoes. Thank you, Rushel, for everything.
