Russell received an ER patient whom he quickly identified as septic - the patient was declining. He quickly got help from ICU, notified the MD, and got the patient the tests and intervention he needed. Amidst all the chaos, Russell remained calm; explaining everything to his patient and even striking up a conversation with him about cars, an interest they both shared. Russell consistently shows great compassion and is highly skilled at connecting with his patients and making them feel assured and well cared for. He is a true DAISY Nurse.
