During my entire break down I never once felt judged by Rusty. He is a wonderful nurse with the best, most natural bedside manner.
I went to the ER with breathing difficulties. After some treatment, it was determined I needed to be admitted. When I arrived at my room I was greeted by Rusty. I believe he was the charge nurse. He helped me get settled then made the long series of questions fun! I truly enjoyed his personality.
After that, I didn't see Rusty until my second night there. After a series of events and being on medication that causes anxiety, I was in a full panic attack. Rusty came into my room as I was crying and hyperventilating. I was tired and I wanted to leave the hospital. Rusty took my hand and listened to me. He helped me breathe and helped calm my concerns about being in the hospital as a high-risk person during a pandemic. He understood that I was tired and calmly told me what it meant to leave the hospital against the doctor's orders. Rusty stayed calm and made me feel understood. He was able to change my nurse for the night and get me something to help me sleep. He knew I was exhausted.
During my entire break down I never once felt judged by Rusty. He is a wonderful nurse with the best, most natural bedside manner. He is a person I would have as a friend, in fact, another nurse spoke highly of him and said she was honored to be his friend. Rusty is extraordinary and Allenmore Hospital is a better place with him.
