We had a patient who was homeless and was being discharged and he had lost his shoes while he was here (in the hospital). Ruth first offered the shoes off of her own feet. Then she went to Walmart since her shift was over and bought 2 pairs of shoes out of her own pocket. Ruth is always willing to help out. Whenever we have any fundraiser, she always pitches in with her time and money. When we have bed alarms and call lights go off, Ruth is willing to help our unit out.
