Ruth is an outstanding nurse. She has been the sole staff nurse in the clinic for a while, with the help of our excellent ambulatory RN float staff, and has maintained her professionality and good humor. She has a broad depth of knowledge and experience that she brings to her work every day in the Coordinated Care and Hennepin Health Access clinic. This clinic has very complex patients with multiple medical and psychosocial problems. Ruth is able to triage patients both in person and on the phone accurately and successfully. She is compassionate but able to set boundaries as needed. Ruth is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care to these patients. I am privileged to have such an intelligent, engaged, experienced nurse working in the clinic.
