Ruth is a specialty care RN who exemplifies all the qualities of someone who really cares about their patients. As a heart failure care manager she has a compassion and empathy to deal with patients who are very ill and often depressed. She has often come to work early and/or worked through lunch so that she can effectively manage her patients and hence keep them out of the hospital.

Ruth has demonstrated commitment to clinical quality and improving her scope by creating standardized protocols. Her peers and co-workers are inspired by her example and want to work as hard as she does. The leadership and commitment she has is unbelievable!
