Ruthy sent me home filled with love and assurance I was doing wonderful on my road to recovery.
In June, I entered the Walter's unit for a mastectomy on the left side. It was an absolute blessing to have Ruthy as my nurse. She was so attentive to me with each detail. Not one time did I have to hit the call button. She presents herself so steady, loving, and wanting to know my every need. I was there all night so my immediate experience coming out of surgery was critical to preparing me for home recovery. Ruthy was like an angel, always speaking softly with smiling eyes.
When I entered the hospital, I was in a 28-year recovery from breast cancer on the same breast so this was my 2nd miracle of recovery. The doctor promised me she would take excellent care of me. Little did she know about the angel God released over me in recovery in the Walter's unit. Ruthy sent me home filled with love and assurance I was doing wonderful on my road to recovery. She made sure I always had warm blankets, the leg massager was connected and food I wanted in my tummy. I do not recall ever waking and not instantly seeing her and hearing her sweet voice. God sent me an angel to watch over me and give me the "BEST" care I have ever received in the hospital. This care needs to be acknowledged because Ruthy really cares and devotes herself to the needs of her patients. Especially during COVID-19. I really want her to be honored for her devotion and all she gives!
P.S. I got my miracle and I got Ruthy!
