Ryan Berry is a night shift charge RN in the ED. Over the last year, he has helped lead night shift. Ryan has a strong sense of right and wrong and uses it to lead his team. 
 
He has gone out of his way to ensure families can see their loved ones when they are critically ill. Calling and arranging rides for people over 50 miles away. Ryan ensured a lost patient made it back to the ED safely, clocking out of work to go find the patient himself when police resources were limited.
 
Ryan has also led the department in non-patient-related ways. Ryan picked up several coworkers during the snow. He ensured the team had rides to work and would be available to care for patients during the difficult time. Lastly, Ryan helped his team grieve when a coworker passed, showing them great kindness and empathy each day. 
 
Thank you for all you have done for the department over the last year. It doesn't go unnoticed.
