Ryan was the one nurse in a 12 day span who cared for Grandma in a way she would be proud to say one of her own would. He was extremely professional while personally helping as well. As a nursing student myself, I learned from Ryan how to be compassionate toward a patient and their family. He helped us to understand every question we had. He let us kiss grandma goodbye which meant the world to us. Ryan's compassion towards my grandmother touched my heart immensely. He treated her as if she were a part of his own family. He watched over her, Ryan made sure my grandmother knew we were there.
