Ryan was the patient’s nurse every night she was here. He checked on her several times each night. On Sunday night, she had a panic attack, and he stayed with her. He let her talk through it and explain how the past few months have been stressful. She stated, “he was always calm and I needed calm that night.” As a retired nurse, she said she could recognize a nurse’s soul and his caring for his patient. She went on to say, “I am ever so grateful he was my night nurse.”
