Ryan is not only a great nurse but an amazing team member, teacher, and person.
I would like to share my experience with Ryan Gray RN. I am a new employee to Beebe and new to Delaware. I picked up and moved my family from NY to Delaware. I came to ENIT with several years of ICU experience, however, change is also anxiety-producing. I had spent most of my orientation with Ryan.

Ryan is not only a great nurse but an amazing team member, teacher, and person. Coming to a new facility with new policies, procedures, practices, a medical team, and new people was of course difficult for me on multiple levels. Ryan made me feel so comfortable and calm throughout my entire orientation. I was never made to feel like I did not belong, never made to feel like I was silly for asking questions even though I probably asked them twelve times already, and our joke about sub-par directions as to where things are here in the hospital. Having someone show kindness and compassion during a life-changing transition meant the world to me not only in my position here at Beebe but also in my personal life as well.

Ryan was not just like this with me but with everyone we had interactions with. During a rapid response for a patient that had decompensated, which is a very stressful situation, Ryan kept complete composure calming the primary nurse and patient at the same time. As someone who loves to teach; this was an amazing moment to see what type of nurse, person, and teammate Ryan is. Unfortunately, in today's world basic human kindness and dignity are not seen enough, however, Ryan possesses these qualities in spades. It is people like Ryan that make people love their job and when they feel welcomed and cared for, it can be seen in the care given to our patients
