Ryan has a heart of gold, a platinum head, and a diamond body – he’s priceless. Poor Ryan had to deal with my very grumpy father after anesthesia changed him from a nice person to a not very nice person. My father kept pulling his tubes out and getting out of his bed in confusion, ruining his surgeon’s hard work. My mom relied upon Ryan to let her know how to handle my father and what was going on. Ryan was very patient and calm. He explained it in terms that both she and I understood as well as not alarming my mother in any way. Being a nurse is hard work as it is – physical and emotional, but Ryan was a master of both, and I am thankful for his expertise and professionalism. He kept my mother informed and sane, and for that, I am very grateful for him going above and beyond.
