I showed up in the ER with four-day-old injuries to my left arm. I was accompanied by my sister and brother-in-law. Ryan was the nurse on duty. He removed the bandage from my arm and prepared the injuries for examination by the physician. After the examination, Ryan returned and cleaned the wounds, while explaining what he was doing and instructing me on what needs to be done. He was very careful to show us what he was doing and to explain why it should be done. My wife is an RN and my daughter is an EMT, so I have some background to recognize Ryan's attention to detail. Not only was he extremely detailed in his explanations, but his adherence to sterilization and infections control protocol was excellent. Ryan is a great asset to his team.
