My Aunt was admitted to your ICU and passed away on Sunday. I just wanted to take a moment and give your ICU staff a compliment and recognition for a job well done. The nursing station on the unit went above and beyond for my aunt and family. Her nurse each day was very caring and understanding.

Ryan was her nurse one day, and he was always very pleasant, understanding, and respectful. Ryan took time to explain to all my family members what was going on with my aunt and answered any questions that they may have had. He was very compassionate and understanding that my family was hurting. He made sure to tell my aunt that all her family was there for her, and how loved she was. It really is the small things that make a difference.

I am part of a hospital leadership team in Las Vegas and have seen my share of nurses. if Ryan lived in Las Vegas I would try to recruit him to join my hospital team. It's nurses like Ryan that truly make a difference in patients' and families' lives. You truly have an amazing ICU team at Kaiser South that goes above and beyond. I mean everyone in that ICU unit was great. They all worked as a team to ensure all of the patients in their unit were taken care of. They all need to know what a great job they did for my Aunt. Words cannot express how grateful I am for Ryan.
