I truly don't think that I could have hand-picked anyone to take better care of my mother.
Ryan received 3 different nominations for the period of May - July. Here is an excerpt from one of the letters we received: “I felt like the whole time we were there he went above and beyond his job to take care of my mom. Not only did he take care of the medical things that needed to be done but also helped her mentally. . . He went above and beyond to not only make my mother feel better but also my cousin and I who were there with her. He would listen to her talk about things that were unrelated to why she was there. He knew that she needed to talk about other things to help her cope. He was able to make us smile and even laugh, which was also what we all needed right then. He never once made any of us feel like we were asking stupid questions or overreacting. . . I truly don't think that I could have hand-picked anyone to take better care of my mother. I am beyond grateful and feel truly blessed that she had him. The world would be a much better place if all nurses were like Ryan.”
