Ryan was taking care of a confused and agitated patient who required one on one care. The patient was aggressive and even punched Ryan. Ryan never showed any signs of irritation or frustration with the patient. He was calm, cool and collected the entire time. Ryan attempted to contact the patient's significant other to keep her involved as he was collaborating with the MD, security, and nurses. He consistently communicated in a respectful manner with the patient.
Ryan provided excellent care to this very confused and agitated patient with exceptional grace and professionalism. He remained focused on the safety of the patient and the staff at all time. Ryan is an inspiration.
