Rylee Claman, RN

Rylee had a comfort care patient, and she took the time to sit with her so she was not alone. She cheered her up and had her dancing in bed, singing, and cracking jokes. She pushed her around the unit to visit staff members and took her outside to get fresh air. They even enjoyed root beer floats together and made a video to send to the patient’s son. She made sure that the patient didn’t feel alone but instead felt valued, included, and happy. I’m glad I was able to witness Rylee not only take care of this patient but make sure her last moments on earth were outstanding.
